Oliver shoots photos in a documentary and photojournalistic style. He focuses on capturing moments as they happen and less on posed pictures.

Basically, our philosophy is that we don’t make your session a photoshoot, we capture photos at your session. What does this mean? We do our best to blend into the day and not get in the way of the event — like a documentarian. Oliver’s style is more natural and therefore he typically shoots without accessories like flash and studio lighting.

Ultimately, we want you to have beautiful photos that bring you right back to the moment when you look at them. Let us know what your vision is!

Oliver is an incredible source of photography knowledge and loves to talk shop. He has a fine arts degree from the National Film & Television School in London, has worked in and around the media and film industry for years, and has had his work published by and displayed in prestigious institutions around the world.

Wow, wild that you ask! Yes we are! If you book an engagement shoot, we’re offering 5-10% of your wedding package!!! The discount is dependent on hours, the longer you book us the more you’ll save.

We accept e-transfer payments and certified cheques.

Absolutely. If you’re in the GTHA, we can travel to your location without any additional fees. For those located outside of the GHTA or even Ontario, get in touch and we can chat about getting our services to you.

Like most folks our availability is different month-to-month, but we’re incredibly flexible. If you’re eyeing certain dates and times, just let us know! We work through all seasons.

We know how much you look forward to getting your finished photos. The average photographer in the GTHA promises turnaround between 4-8 weeks after your session!! We don’t like to keep you waiting and prioritize incredibly speedy photo turnaround.

For digital photos, we can provide your photos within 7 days of the session!

For film photos, as they have to be developed, we can provide them within 14 days of the session.

If you’d like next day service, that’s always an option too (additional fee).

Your memories will be kept secure on encrypted local storage and shared with you via a SSL secured cloud link — you’ll be able to access them for six months. For all types of photos, film included, we will provide you with edited digital copies.

Your photos will come to you as JPEGs or TIFFs (if you’d prefer). These formats are high quality and are standard formats that can be opened pretty much everywhere and anytime.

For our packages that include film photography, you can also receive your negatives by mail!

Absolutely. Your photos are yours! We’ll provide high-quality images for printing up to as large as a billboard! We can also provide you with prints; we work with a trusted partner in Toronto to offer archival-quality fine art prints.

Yes! We have a great relationship with a respected fine art printing house in Toronto and we can provide you with high quality prints that will last a lifetime.

Yes, our editing is done by Olz & Em in-house! Our editing focuses on aspects like bringing out the vibrance of elements like flowers, decor, and skies.

When we say edit, we mean keeping things natural. Edits don’t include altering body proportions or the physical appearances of people — we want your photos to reflect the day and to not appear overly processed.

Nope! The cost of editing is included in your selected package.

Oliver uses Kodak Porta series film.

Absolutely not — we want to make things as simple as possible for you. We bring all of the necessary supplies and equipment. The cost of film and development are also included in the pricing of your selected package so there are no surprises.

On our services & pricing page we offer 4, 8, 10, and 12 hour wedding sessions. If you’re planning a longer event, we can accommodate, just let us know when you book your consultation.
